SUP boarding and canoeing
Spend a summer day canoeing, kayaking or SUP boarding on Lake Nurmaanjärvi, by WHD Gård. If you want variety from swimming, SUP boarding is a fun pastime on a warm summer day, and if your balance allows, you can paddle off further away to explore the shoreline of the lake. In an open canoe, you can paddle with a friend and see if you can steer your vessel in the same direction. In a single kayak, you can try going on a longer excursion and even take a turn on the river leading to Lake Vuohijärvi.
.At WHD Gård, there are two single kayaks, two open canoes, two SUP boards and a rowing boat for hire. In the summertime, the equipment is available for rental to holidaymakers, or your work group can book the equipment for a company recreation day or meeting day.
